Student check-ins

As we have successfully wrapped up Term 1 and are back in the swing of things after a choppy November schedule, I felt it was a great time to check-in with each student in level 1.  This was a great opportunity to talk one-on-one with each student and speak about their progress and goals for the next term.

Students were first asked to complete this survey about the class and the weaknesses and strengths of myself and the class.  I will use the anonymous results to help shape how the class is run.  Below you can see what the survey consisted of:

Student check-ins were conducted individually with each student.  And in most cases, it was just a check in to reassess goals in Italian class.  But in some cases, it was a way to individually speak with students about any concerns I have or they may have.  I found this practice to be very useful and I hope to be able to implement it again in the future.

Have a great week!
