Monkeying around with Animal Vocabulary

For the month of March, Italian 1 students have been mastering their animal vocabulary.  As our vocabulary test approached, in class we used a variety of ways to get ready for it.  In a way for the students to work on their vocabulary but also work on their speaking in Italian, we played the game “Headbands” in class.  Students would have to guess what animal they were using the key phrases and vocabulary that we have been reviewing.

It was such a fun game, and the students really tried their best to only communicate in Italian.  This was the first time I have played this game in class.  I found it to be a great activity and really helped mix up the way class is run.

Above are pictures from the game.
